We are looking for a detail-oriented self-starter who wants to join our growing and dynamic finance team. You will be utilizing your excellent customer service and analytical skills to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our AR collections. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about maintaining strong relationships with customers and the sales teams while helping to achieve the AR team goals.

This is a remote opportunity within Canada.

What we're looking for:

• 2+ years of accounting experience

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must since the role requires constant communication with customers and internal stakeholders.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to demonstrate teamwork skills in a growing team.

• Strong attention to detail and proficient analytical skills

• A knack for learning things on your own and quickly adapting to new environments.

What you can expect:

• Manage the AR inbox and distribute emails efficiently among team members

• Respond to customer emails regarding billing and collection matters

• Collaborate with other departments such as sales and customer success teams to resolve customer issues and improve billing and collections processes

• Own the recording and reconciliation of customer payments

• Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end closing related AR accounts.

• Assist in monitoring overdue accounts and contribute to collection efforts while maintaining positive customer relationships.

• Assist in projects related to the automation and process improvements of the AR team.

Canada-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $59000 CAD and $79000 CAD plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health dental RRSP and many others) utilization of our generous paid time off an equity grant and where applicable participation in our incentive programs.
