As a Client Portfolio Manager you perform activities in line with the responsibility of the CPM team. This team is the owner of a set of client and relevant fund mandates and has additional responsibilities in the area of Currency hedging, Securities lending and the management of Client pipelines for illiquid products.

As a member of the team you will be playing a supporting role in the establishment of an excellent cooperation with all stakeholders i.e. the investment team, operations, Data Management, FRA, account management, risk management, marketing and sales.

You play a supporting role in the documentation of all processes and make sure that they are updated on a regular basis and drive process improvements and initiate changes.

As a CPM employee you make sure that new client and fund mandates are implemented in our systems, and that all mandates are managed within the mandate limits. Breaches are being reported immediately to the head of the team.

You are playing a supporting role in the asset allocation process and make sure that (allocation) decisions made by the investors and other cash flows are implemented timely and accurately. Next to this you support the team in order to, together with Account management and proposition Management, maintain & develop the balanced mandate proposition and products including the matching & monitoring proposition.

You understand currency hedge methods applicable to the funds CPM is responsible for and are capable of initiating trades when necessary. Furthermore you understand the offering of the equity proposition (Alpha, Beta, Beta Overlay) and are able to manage this.

Qualifications:

As a CPM you have strong communication skills, verbally and in writing and are outcome oriented. Moreover, you have the following qualifications:

• A master degree in the area of finance, economics or quantitative studies.
• Fluent in Dutch
• Affinity within professional asset management, fiduciary manager or investment consultancy firm
• Insurance or pension knowledge is strongly preferred
• Willingness to start or holding a CFA title
