Junior Manufacturing Engineer

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Junior Manufacturing Engineer.

What you'll do:

Support in new changes, cost reduction, quality improvements, new designs, etc., using the design process. Keep updated manufacturing information using different documentations systems (CMS, D-Spec, AS-400, etc.)
• Support production departments for the various products manufactured at the plant in Juarez, including other product designs that are manufactured sister plants in Juarez.
• Support the manufacture of prototypes of products that allow the implementation of the manufacture of new designs and modifications.
• Coordinate maintenance of systems online in sheets of material and internal specifications of products manufactured in Juarez.

• Engineering Technician and Draftsman to comply with the plans for implementation of new products. (Assembly only).
• Provide technical support to the departments of Production Control, Customer Service, Production, Quality, Manufacturing, Accounting and Materials.
• Actively participate in the implementation of improvement projects that positively impact the Cost, Quality and Cycle Time.
• Participating in the Corrective and Preventive Action system quality by removing roots of design problems.
• To help meet the objectives of environmental control system, know the policy and comply with the methods and procedures applicable to this function.
• Provide necessary support to industrial security policy is respected in all of its contents, as well as contribute to the successful implementation of ESP.
• Assigned to support the ELSS tool ownership for Value Stream mapping, Standard work Layout design and maintenance in areas under his/her responsibilities under the competencies described on the Value stream mapping ownership document TPQ 001 attached. Measurement of success is the achievement of Demonstrating level per ELSS criteria in these tools in areas under his/her responsibility.

• Follow up on the questions of the staff in charge, referring to the S.A.A.
• Support compliance and monitoring of environmental and Safety policy.
• Contribute to the achievement of Environmental & Safety Goals
• Support to maintain the S.A.A. for the care of the Environment.
• Carry out the activities established in the Methods and Procedures of the S.A.A.
• Understand the impacts of Environmental Aspects.
• Carry out the provisions of the Operational Controls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Proficiency english

• Experience with steel bending processes

• Lean Manufacturing, VSM, DMM,PFMA, Control plan

• Continuous improvement projects
• Project Management
• Access
• Excel
• AutoCAD, Inventor
• Six Sigma (Yellow belt)
