Junior Mission Systems Software Engineer

Job Description:

In Airbus Defence and Space, within the area of Mission Systems, we're looking for a Junior Engineers interested in developing their professional careers in the Software Engineering field, covering all activities involved in the Software Development life cycle for the FITS (Fully Integrated Tactical System) such as: SW requirements, design, implementation and verification.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering,Telecommunication Engineering, Industrial Enigneering or equivalent (equal or less than 3 years experience).

• Experience in C++ development over GNU/Linux Operative Systems., including coding and debugging skills.

• Knowledge on Software Design with UML

• Knowledge on Software Verification

• Knowledge on Requirements Management.

• Knowledge on Software Configuration and problem tracking,

• Advanced level of English and Spanish

• Open minded, agile, pro-active nature and keen to new challenges.

• Availability to travel (occasionally)

Will be very highly appreciated knowledge in any (or several) of these competences:

• Experience on GIS and HMI technologies: Carmenta, Rogue Wave (former ILOG) Maps, OpenGL, Rogue Wave Views, Qt.

• Experience in Software integration of ISR Sensors: Radar, EO/IR, IFF, AIS, ADS-B, MAD, ESM, Acoustic, Armament, etc

• Experience on Avionics protocols: ARINC-429, 1553, AFDX, etc

• Experience in Network Architectures (CCNA certification)
