About the Role 

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Sales Engineer to join our team! The Junior Sales Engineer will support our senior sales engineers by quoting hardware small projects for our client base. They will work closely with all members of the Revenue Operations Team and act as a technical escalation for teammates. We are looking for someone who is passionate about solving problems and looking to grow in their career.  

Role & Responsibilities 

  • Work with vendors to scope hardware for clients and register deals to get maximum margin 
  • Quote small projects by scoping labor and outlining project requirements 
  • Manage a queue of quoting and support tasks to assist the Revenue Operations team 
  • Quote and deliver hardware and software renewals to clients 
  • Provide technical support to teammates 
  • Identify areas for improvement within the Revenue organization and bring them to leadership 
  • At any given time, work on one to two special projects that increase team effectiveness

Technical Requirements 

  • 2+ years providing end-user desktop support and infrastructure management 
  • Hands on experience with Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 and Microsoft 365 
  • Active directory administration 
  • Mobile Devices – experience installing and configuring on supported iOS and Android devices 
  • Software – experience installing and supporting computer and mobile device software issues including Office 2016/2019/365 Suite and line of business applications and work with vendor support 
  • Hardware – experience installing and supporting physical components of hardware and working with vendor support 
  • Network – basic understanding of TCP/IP protocols and various networking devices 
  • Security – experience installing common Anti-Virus and Endpoint Threat Detection software. Basic awareness of security threats and incident response 
  • Span filtering – familiarity with usage and basic support 
  • Backup systems – familiarity with configuration and support 
  • Familiarity with MFA/SSO/Web Security 
  • Proficiency in Macs is a plus! 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Technology related Bachelor’s or Associates degree, or related IT experience 
  • Industry relevant certifications such as: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ a plus! 

 

What We Offer

  • Base salary estimated range between $55,000 to $65,000 annually plus commissions. The final base salary offer will be determined after reviewing relevant factors, including but not limited to skill sets and relevant experience.
