Job Description

Seeking a Junior Sys Admin who is seeking to grow in a transparent infrastructure team allowing for growth while expecting adherance to practice, policy and procedure.

Candidate would have 1-3 years experience coming from Desktop to system admin responsibilities and ideally looking for growth to new areas.

Responsibilities

•Supporting Windows and Linux servers

•Supporting Infrastructure services such as (but not limited to) DNS, DHCP, NTP, File, IIS, Printing, DLP, Proxy, Active Directory

•Supporting datacenter initiatives regarding racking, stacking, cabling. Will include lifting of heavy objects using precautions per item.

•Supporting VMware vSphere and VDI as it pertains to server configurations and operations

•Supporting Linux servers, patching and support

•Supporting End users in troubleshooting related to all of the above, sometimes in a level 1/2 capacity.

Qualifications

Qualifications

•1-2 years of Helpdesk/Desktop support

•1-2 years of Windows Server administration experience

•1-2 years of experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP

•Exceptional communication skills and presentation skills

•Basic exposure to Exchange and VMware/Hyper-V is highly sought after

Direct Experience in any of the below is a plus

Print Services, Solarwinds, Certificate Authority, VMware Horizon, VMware AppVolume, VMware DEM, HP Device Manager, Blackberry, Varonis, Okta, SCCM

Compensation:

The expected annual salary for this position is between $80,000 - $90,000 at the start of employment. A salary offer is determined on an individualized basis, taking into consideration factors such as an individual’s skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision plans, life and disability insurance, employee wellness program, retirement and savings plans with employer contributions, generous holiday and paid time off schedules, parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
