Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work hand-on with other digital analytics engineers to develop and implement the end-to-end digital behavioral data collection within Adobe analytics and other analytics solutions.
  • Collaborate with product, data science, marketing, and engineering teams to establish and maintain robust tagging within Adobe Launch.
  • Build cohesive measurement strategies and plans that align data collection with measurement priorities, and recommend processes for detailed integration between platforms.
  • Validate and test end-to-end implementation to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Find opportunities for process improvement and provide recommendations for ongoing tag management, data collection, and governance.
  • Enhance requirements for digital data layers (e.g., event-based ACDL) within the Tag Management solution (Adobe Data Collection).
  • Work closely with the technical analytics team to implement data framework using Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, mobile SDKs, Adobe APIs, Adobe Target, and related features.
  • Develop a technical strategy for migrating data collection to Adobe AEP.
  • Own the support and implementation efforts for auxiliary analytics tools, such as Tealium CDP, Media Pixels, Site Surveys and others.
  • Write custom scripts in JavaScript, jQuery, or other coding languages to accommodate unique tracking requirements.
  • Participate in QA and deployment processes, following Agile methodology.
  • Engage in discussions with customers, multi-functional teams, and senior leadership to drive analytics strategy, resolve requirements, and explain algorithms behind specific metrics.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's Degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in analytics, including working with tag management systems and digital analytics development.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Analytics Workspace, reporting and admin console & experience working with Adobe Datafeed
  • Ability to translate business measurement requirements into technical specifications that support the overall data collection strategy.
  • Excellent understanding of JavaScript, HTML, jQuery, JSON, and DOM manipulation.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based information systems and the marketing technology (Martech) landscape.
  • Experience working with CDPs like Tealium, Adobe RTCDP, Salesforce or ActionIQ a plus
  • Experience using SQL or other query languages to work with Adobe Analytics Data Feed a plus
  • Experience with implementing Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) is a plus.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience coaching a team of developers/engineers is advantageous.

Pay Range - Start:
$110,040.00
Pay Range - End:
$204,360.00
Northwestern Mutual pays on a geographic-specific salary structure and placement in the salary range for this position will be determined by a number of factors including the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; the scope, complexity as well as the cost of labor in the market; and other conditions of employment. At Northwestern Mutual, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
