The Lead Analyst-Human Resources, Data Insights for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for delivering meaningful metrics, trends, key insights, and detailed analyses in all areas of Human Resources support and services and produce ad hoc queries/reports to support special initiatives.

This position is part of the Human Resources team and reports to the Director, North America Human Resources; this is a remote role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Perform analyses including quantitative and qualitative approaches, transactional / efficiency, and Human Capital metrics.
  • Conduct workforce analyses including turnover, headcount, hires, and term metrics.
  • Create visualizations in Power BI for Human Resources
  • Identify opportunities to integrate between databases and reporting tools to improve reporting and customer self-service; seek opportunities to drive innovation and process improvement within the reporting/data analysis spectrum.
  • Design, build, and deliver effective dashboards to communicate the most important information and insights to our Business, Talent Acquisition, and HR leaders
  • Work to continuously enhance our reporting and analytics infrastructure, including helping to shape our roadmap, document critical information, and enhance our data warehouse
  • Deliver analyses focused on talent and diversity, leveraging analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree with 9+ years' experience in the field, or Master's degree with 7+ years' experience or Doctoral degree with 4+ years' experience in field: Business Administration, Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Economics, Statistics,
  • Strong analytical skills with focus on utilizing Human Resources data, systems, or reporting function, specifically Power BI and Workday, including the creation of calculated fields
  • Highly proficient level Excel capabilities
  • Proven experience presenting and communicating with senior/executive leadership
  • Experience leveraging data in combination with organizational and business acumen to build compelling insights and propel better decision making

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Exceptional ability to visually present and communicate data, analyses, and findings.
  • Experience with data science experience utilizing Predictive analytics, scenario modeling, workforce planning, HR technology and automation
  • Experience demonstrating people analytics insights at a large global company to Executives
  • Experience with visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, One Model, Visier, Alteryx, Python, R, and/or similar data analysis business intelligence tools, Microsoft Office, SQL
  • Experience in complex data analytics and developing statistical reporting.
  • Experience diagnosing gaps and opportunities, then designing, implementing and sustaining customized analytics applications
  • Experience building compelling and scalable analytics summaries including dashboard and scorecards
  • Experience in consulting and partnering, and ability to drive impact and influence without direct authority

The salary range for this role is $120-140K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado or California. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
