Lead Cloud Network Engineer

We are seeking a Lead Cloud Network Engineer to spearhead the migration of our client's critical infrastructure to Azure and help lay the foundation for forthcoming modernization initiatives.

• Lead the migration of on-premise infrastructure to Azure
• Design and implement cloud strategies and reference architectures
• Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform and ARM templates
• Manage cloud deployments and ensure seamless integration with existing systems
• Ensure infrastructure security by implementing best practices and proactive measures
• Maintain and optimize Linux server environments
• Configure and manage network setups including VNETs, subnetting, NSGs, routing, and firewalls
• Utilize build automation tools like Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible, and ADO
• Facilitate container orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
• Create comprehensive technical documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate project timelines, dependencies, and progress

• 3+ years of technical experience in development, operations, or full-stack implementations
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Expertise in Azure cloud services
• Proficiency in developing infrastructure as code, specifically with Terraform and ARM templates
• Advanced knowledge in Linux server administration
• Deep understanding of networking fundamentals including VNETs, subnetting, NSGs, routing, firewalls, and DNS
• Competency in build automation tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible, Terraform, and ADO
• Experience in applying security best practices in infrastructure and application setups
• Skills in container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
• Background in working within an Agile Scrum framework
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and solution-oriented thinking
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders
