Lead Designer

We are currently expanding our Design team and are in search of a seasoned and inventive ART Lead to join our dynamic group!
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the art design efforts predominantly in the gaming sector, fostering an environment of creativity and innovation.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare eye-catching concepts specifically tailored for the gaming industry, such as online casinos
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to Senior Designers and Designers
• Lead, inspire, grow, and motivate a diverse team of designers
• Serve as a role model for the team
• Review design concepts and mockups to ensure they meet project requirements
• Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and adjust schedules as necessary
• Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders to gather feedback
• Collaborate with engineers to confirm designs are feasible and functional
• Generate new design concepts and ideas

Requirements

• Recognized resource for innovation and groundbreaking design
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in the game development industry including mobile games, online games and casinos
• Qualifications in Leadership
• Demonstrable portfolio with gaming industry work
• Understanding of industry standard practices, tools, pipelines, workflows, and technical budget challenges in real-time development
• Leadership experience working with artists and designers
• Organized, process-driven with capability to make decisions based on data and numbers
• Capacity to discuss personal needs with team members and resolve team challenges
• Experience with outsourcing studios
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
• Proficiency in agile methodologies
• Skills in Adobe Photoshop, Computer Graphic 2D Art, Design Evaluation, Figma, and Game Item Art Implementation in 2D or 3D

• Background in Hand Drawing
• Knowledge of Mobile Game Development
