We are looking for a passionate Designer to bring Color to Nike: through Cultural Insights and Consumer Connections to Sport, Youth, + Culture, through compelling Storytelling, Palette Builds, Communication, and Tools, serving the Nike Global Athlete.

SCOPE

A passionate and innovative designer with expertise in color trends, consumer insights, color theory, and digital tools. You are a visual storyteller who can translate insights into cohesive color narratives and build physical and digital palettes that support creative direction. Detail-oriented and collaborative, you excel at delivering impactful tools and solutions while fostering a positive team culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Research trends and build Nike's Color Excellence narrative.

Create seasonal and timeless palettes, exploring hues, combinations, and finishes.
Collaborate with teams to align color direction with Nike's vision.

Develop, Strategize, and Drive Physical and Digital tools to support, communicate, and innovate.

COLLABORATION
Reporting to the Senior Director of Color Design Excellence, you'll collaborate with design leadership, Color Excellence Team, Global Design team members, and the CMTS (Color, Material, Trend, and, Sustainability) teams, Color Dev / Standards / and Partners to bring Direction + Tools to life.

KEY SKILL SETS

  • Bachelor's degree in Design or combination of relevant education, experience, and training.
  • Deep understanding of the Nike Global Athlete + Consumer through strong cultural acuity.
  • Familiar with fashion + street trend and subculture
  • Sport Culture + Storytelling.
  • Strong organizational, communication, time management skills
  • Curiosity about the future, future color, future color applications.
  • Expert in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator, Keynote, and Resources + Applications to support Color builds
  • Thrives in ambiguity
  • Cooperative and inclusive spirit
  • Ability to drive collaboration
