Job Description:

What You'll Do

Responsible for coordinating risk assessment and due diligence governance on new and existing business partners and new product initiatives which encompass multiple risk disciplines and engage numerous internal and external business partners. Acts as risk contact for various topics including regulatory risks for both internal and external partners. Supports the Know Your Customer (KYC) review by providing subject matter expertise to Payment Services Risk Management to collect and verify Customer Identification Program (CIP) elements including Beneficial Ownership and Evidence of Existence. Represents DFS as a subject matter expert for high profile partners (domestic and international) on payments risk and strategy.

Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

How You'll Do It:

  • Works with Risk SME's across the various lines of defense to ensure appropriate approval and oversight of new initiatives and high risk partners.
  • Plans, directs, and coordinates risk review programs for new or existing partners or opportunities to control risks and ensure compliance.
  • Collects and maintains partner review documentation and feedback to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Performs onsite workshops with high profile partners (domestic and international) on payments risk and strategy.
  • Manages, maintains and enhances the system of record listing ensuring accuracy and completeness of data collected and retained.
  • Creates accurate and timely reporting of all reviews for internal business partners and senior management in order to provide transparency and identify processing delays.

Qualifications You'll Need

The Basics

  • Bachelor's in business administration & management, marketing or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in financial services, marketing, compliance, internal audit operations or vendor management areas or related.
  • In lieu of education, 8+ years of experience in financial services, marketing, compliance, internal audit operations or vendor management areas or related.

Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $77,500.00 to $131,500.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
