Job Description
Cinnamon Energy Systems (CES) is a Los Gatos-based solar, battery and
electrification contractor with a heritage of over 15,000 customers since 2001. We
pride ourselves on using the latest and best money-saving equipment to provide
premium experience for our business and residential customers in Silicon Valley.
As electricity rates continue to increase – while at the same time we transition to
EVs and electrify our buildings with heat pumps – it becomes even more important
to plan for electrification and make the right equipment choices. Over the past few
years CES has grown to become the leading solar, battery and electrical upgrade
installer in Silicon Valley. With new IRA incentives, CES is also providing heat pump
HVAC, heat pump water heater and EV charger installations as part of our
complete electrification services.
Functions & Responsibilities:
• Perform panel and service upgrades on residences
• Both overhead and underground EV charger installations
• backup subpanel installations and wiring
• residential and light commercial wiring and troubleshooting
• stucco, framing and weatherproofing to pass inspections
• ensure attention to detail with an emphasis on quality and safety
• follow OSHA safety procedures
• attend city and utility inspections on behalf of customers
• Working with Lead Installers to complete wiring and grounding
• Loading, unloading and cleanup of job equipment and materials; and otherrelated tasks, Customer Satisfaction
• Consistently show professionalism & diplomacy to assure customersatisfaction
• Effectively escalate customer situations when unable to achieve resolutionTeamwork and Dependability:
• Demonstrate ability to work effectively with other team members and companyemployees.
• Always maintain a professional image and decorum
• relate to the public and to customers in a professional, courteous, and respectfulmanner, appropriately responding to their concerns
• Meet established attendance guidelines
• Demonstrate attentiveness and comprehension at all company training/meetings
• Advocate service delivery system improvements
• Performs other allied duties as assigned by supervisor
• High School degree
• 2 or more years of construction/electrical experience
• Be able to communicate effectively to supervisor when needed
• Skills in using common construction tools
• Willingness to work overtime when needed
• Maintain a clean driving record
Physical Requirements; Work Environment:
Excellent mobility, ability to sit, stand, crawl, walk, bend, stoop, use of
hands/fingers, be able to climb ladders, work with tools and be able to reach for an
extended period. Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
