Lead Engineer - User Interface Developer

Job Description Summary

User Interface Development Engineer will work in an Agile Scrum environment. The role will require working with the Scrum development team and product management team to develop HMI / user interfaces for product releases.

You will work among a talented and motivated R&D team, applying technologies such as On-line Dissolved Gas Measurement (DGA), Bushing Measurement (Tan Delta and Capacitance), Partial Discharge (PD) detection (UHF & Electrical) and Fast Transient measurement.

• Good working knowledge in User Interface Skills : JavaScript, Angular, AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3 ,Javascript HighCharts, UI Graphs and Charts

• Methodically review user stories, acceptance criteria and product requirements.
• Identify, recommend, and implement procedures to improve the efficiency of HMI pages.

• Should have strong attention to detail and should be able to work in a team in a fast-paced changing environment.

• Master's Degree in an Engineering or Computer Science discipline or equivalent.
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
• Excellent written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.

• Experience with simulation using scientific programming tools and languages, such as MATLAB, C++, C#, or Python, R, etc.
• Experience of developing and implementing ML models, such as predictive maintenance, load forecasting, etc. in the power system domain.
• Experience with ML frameworks such as Tensorflow, PyTorch, Keras etc.
• Experience with Linux virtualized system deployment using VM, Hypervisor (EsXi, KVM, Xen etc.), Dockers and related tools.
• Expertise in Machine learning/Deep learning methods - LLM, NLP, Computer vision/ Image Processing.
• Expertise of GraphDB, MongoDB, SQL/NoSQL, MS Access, databases.
• Understanding/experience applying data analytics for Electrical Power System or industrial OT system.
• Understanding of GPU Experience, Spark, Scala for distributed computing.
