Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Lead Java Developer.
In the role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle in Java and Microservices. You will also be expected to build high-throughput, fault tolerant systems with requirements including elicitation, application architecture, definition and design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Phoenix, AZ or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
  • Experience in Java 8, REST, Spring boot, Microservices, Kafka or MQ, OpenShift deployments.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 4 to 6 years of experience in Java hands on development.
  • Experience in Java 8, REST, Springboot, Microservices, Kafka or MQ, OpenShift deployments, Spring Security, JPA, XML, XSLT, JAXB, JAXP, MVC, various design patterns.
  • Experience in agile, Scrum, and/or Test-Driven development environment.
  • Experience in project life cycle activities on development and maintenance/Production Support projects.
  • Experience in framework like Spring Boot, event driven services.
  • Experience in API design is a must.
  • Experience with DevOps practices such as pipelines, CI / CD tools is required.
  • Knowledge of domain driven design is must.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
