Job Description:
We are GDIT. The people supporting and securing some of the most complex government defense and intelligence projects across the country. We are currently seeking a Lead Systems Engineer with Mainframe expertise.
Candidates should have 10+ years of experience with expertise in the skills/duties listed below:
• Primary lead to delivery all Operating System and Hardware Management requirements for our mainframe move.
• Primary engineer for z/OS Operating System and RACF security.
• Manage all hardware and system components required to support SYSPLEX Hardware Management Console (HMC) Central Processor(s) (CPU) hardware Logical Partitions (LPARs) Global Resource Serialization (GRS) and Workload Manager (WLM).
• Provide assistance and services to team in software installation RACF security setup and system configuration requirements.

The likely salary range for this position is $153000 - $207000. This is not however a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather salary will be set based on experience geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
