Join a highly motivated engineering team developing and supporting Catapult - the industry leading High-Level Synthesis tool. Catapult is used to design innovative hardware design for machine learning, self-driving cars, augmented and virtual reality and 5G communications. This candidate will focus on C++ front end to perform the language synthesis

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance features related to C++/SystemC language synthesis.
• Collaborate with software architecture, development, and QA teams to design, implement, verify, and resolve defects in application software projects.
• Apply strong software development practices to ensure maintainable and high-quality source code changes.
• Work effectively within a Scrum team to meet deadlines and deliver on time during ongoing release cycles.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve software development processes and procedures.
• Participate in feature specification and design, and provide comprehensive unit tests and documentation.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related software development field, with 5+ years of proven experience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to clearly communicate code changes.
• Proficiency in C++ and at least one scripting language (e.g., Perl, JavaScript, Python).
• Experience with software source control systems (e.g., Perforce, Git, CVS).
• Familiarity with working in a Linux environment
