We're searching for a dynamic Lead, People Analytics to spearhead our team and turn complex data into strategic initiatives that boost both employee satisfaction and business outcomes. In this pivotal role, you'll leverage your deep understanding of HR functions and analytics to guide our talented People Analytics team, providing impactful insights and fostering informed decision-making throughout our organization.
About The Role
As the Lead, People Analytics at Instacart, you will:
- Develop and execute a long-term roadmap for people analytics, focusing on high-impact data products and insights.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and cross-functional teams to prioritize analytics needs and foster a culture of strategic data utilization.
- Elevate decision-making within the People organization by developing and implementing advanced analytical tools, intuitive dashboards, and comprehensive training programs
- Lead projects to answer key business questions, influencing decisions through data visualization and persuasive storytelling to senior leadership.
About the Team
You will lead the Instacart People Analytics Team, a crucial component of our HR framework, which focuses on leveraging data to enhance organizational performance and employee engagement. The team partners extensively with other business units to deliver actionable insights and foster a data-driven culture throughout the company.
About the Job
In this role, you will:
- Own and enhance the analytic frameworks that influence our people strategy, from data collection to insight generation.
- Build and manage a high-performing team of analysts to support the development and execution of the people analytics vision.
- Establish robust data management practices to ensure accuracy and security in handling sensitive employee information.
- Drive innovative analytics solutions and predictive models that support strategic HR initiatives and business operations.
- Design, execute, and analyze employee surveys, with a strong ability to develop strategic survey initiatives and translate results into actionable insights for organizational improvement.
About You
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in analytical roles, focusing on data-driven decision making.
- 5+ years of experience in People Analytics or related HR analytical functions.
- Experienced team manager, demonstrating strong leadership skills and empathy in dynamic settings.
- Strong capability to work collaboratively across various departments, communicating analytical concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient with data technologies, structures, and analytics platforms essential for modern HR functions.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive data with the highest levels of integrity and confidentiality.
- Exceptional presentation skills, with a proven track record of effectively communicating with executive audiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
- Adaptability to change, with a flexible and positive approach to shifting priorities and challenges.
- Experience in developing comprehensive reports, dashboards, and metrics that effectively track and predict organizational outcomes.
- Experience with OneModel or Visier a plus
