Lead Software Developer (remote-only opportunity, location - Europe&CIS)

We are seeking an experienced and visionary individual to lead the development of Imunify360’s PHP security offering. This role involves creating and executing a comprehensive long-term strategy to strengthen and expand our PHP security solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of deep technical expertise and strategic foresight, driving innovation and excellence in our product offering.

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with expertise in Go, Python, or C (experience with PHP is highly desirable).
• Demonstrate hands-on proficiency with Linux, including package management, performance tuning, firewall configuration, and more.
• Manage and optimize PHP applications on Linux-based systems using Nginx, Apache, and php-fpm, with a solid grasp of the web technology stack.
• Write and optimize basic SQL queries for databases such as MySQL and Postgres (experience with ClickHouse is a plus).
• Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies and exhibit strong leadership capabilities within development teams.
• Solve complex problems and troubleshoot issues effectively across different environments.
