Job Description

Our engineering team is seeking a dynamic hands-on team leader who will play a pivotal role in ensuring successful execution of engineering initiatives. As a lead software engineer, you will help the team design, develop, and deliver cutting-edge solutions aligned with customer needs. Successful candidate will have a track record of delivering high-impact, and highly scalable products and possess exceptional technical skills. You will be working with a Product Owner and other engineers to deliver transformative solutions. The right candidate will be somebody who is motivated, loves to continually learn and builds software utilizing modern technologies and strong engineering practices.

You will report to Senior Vice President, Data Engineering.

Core Responsibilities:

• Define and ensure successful adoption of engineering best practices.
• Design, develop, and maintain APIs and microservices using C# and .NET technologies.
• Architect, optimize and scale backend systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Effectively manage engineering resources and project timelines to meet organizational goals.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
• Build, mentor, and lead the team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in engineering leadership and building enterprise grade software platforms, with at least 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong background of developing and deploying micro-services architecture-based software on public clouds AWS.
• In-depth knowledge of OO programming languages like C#.
• Hands-on working experience with databases & SQL, both RDBMS and MPP systems.
• A strong sense of UI design and development; past full-stack software development experience will be.
• Hands-on, collaborative working style with multiple teams.
• A track record of delivering innovative and high-impact products.
