Job Description: VALLEY MEDICAL CENTER JOB DESCRIPTION Central Processing TITLE: CENTRAL PROCESSING TECH II ROLE: See job description for Service Partner for generic job duties. JOB OVERVIEW: Operates steam and gas sterilizers. Prepares items for sterilization process. Performs data entry on two computer systems. Dispenses and recovers patient care equipment. Prepares re-usable trays and instruments for sterilization. Prepares, sterilizes, and transports instruments and equipment for Valley Medical Center. AREA OF ASSIGNMENT: Central Processing HOURS OF WORK: Variable RESPONSIBLE TO: Director of Surgical Services or designee.
