We are seeking a Senior Oracle Application System Administrator to support a Marine Corps Oracle R12 based Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) ERP. The desired candidate will support operations and infrastructure support for multiple Oracle RDBMS environments and instances in support of the Global Combat

What You'll Get to Do:

Support System Marine Corps (GCSS-MC). The selected candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and securing DoD IT system hardware and software infrastructure (servers, network, security, etc.) using systems analysis techniques and procedures to ensure appropriate functioning of hardware, software, or system functional specifications. Analyzes, troubleshoots and resolves issues with IT infrastructure including user systems, servers, storage and network connectivity. Provides system administration for assigned infrastructure and establishes and maintains security as it relates to users. Applies security patches and operating system upgrades to ensure the security and integrity of the technical environment. Supports new infrastructure projects as needed. Maintains all configuration documentation for assigned infrastructure. The candidate should also have experience in leading a small to medium application system administrator/engineering team in a high availability Oracle EBS/ERP environment.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

12 plus years' experience in all or some of the following areas in a large scale, high availability Oracle ERP project for federal agencies, especially for DOD agencies.

• Server Virtualization - (ie. vmware - bonus Oracle Virtual Server or Linux KVM/oVirt)
• Security
• SAN: NFS, snapshots
• Network - VLAN's, complex configurations, troubleshooting
• Edge - Firewall, WAN Optimizer and Load Balancer
• Audit Vault
• Oracle DB and Clustering

• Experience in providing system administration (SA) event and performance monitoring for application tier, Web tier, OS tier and below, servers, hardware, third-party software, storage, network appliances, Riverbed components, f5 load balancer, and administrative user maintenance used within the Production system.
• Experience in managing production hardware warranties, resolve SRs, and perform system backups.
• Experience in performing necessary server maintenance, research hardware, operating system issues, and apply patches/updates to Exadata, Oracle Virtual Machine, Oracle Virtual Server, Infiniband, Network Switches, Management Switches, Management Server, and Virtual Machines.
• Familiar with DoD Cybersecurity processes
• Experience in supporting IAVA management to ensure the system remains compliant to IA/Cybersecurity certification requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or other relevant degree fields.
• Must be able to obtain CompTIA Security Plus or CISSM Certification
• Must be able to obtain a favorable NACI or NACLC background investigation.

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $82,100-$172,400. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
