We are currently seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to join our team in New Orleans, Louisiana (US-LA), United States (US).

NTT DATA, Inc. currently seeks a Systems Administration Specialist person to focus on ongoing systems administration support to join our team. This is a full-time remote position supporting our team in New Orleans, LA.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Experience with configuration and administration of Red Had Satellite 6.
• Securing/hardening Linux systems following Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
• Experience with NFS, NIS, DHCP, AD integration, Automounts, user provisioning, CUPS printing, SMTP, Postfix, Samba/CIFS, TCP/IP, DNS.
• Experience with Network Attached Storage filesystems, e.g. NetApp storage appliances.
• Deployment, configuration, and maintenance of security software, e.g. Symantec virus scanning and BigFix monitoring software.
• Experience writing Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs).
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with end-users.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Basic Qualifications:

• 6-8 years relevant experience.
• 5-years of experience minimum with Red Hat Linux installation, configuration and administration.
• 5-years of experience minimum in writing administrative shell scripts (e.g., Bash or Python), and automation scripts (e.g. Ansible).
• 5+ years of experience with Red Hat

Preferred:

• Familiarity with VMware (or other) virtualization.
• PowerShell scripting a plus.
• Preferred experience with Oil & Gas software, e.g., Geoframe, Petrel, Prosouce, and Openspirit.
• Preferred experience with Kofax installation and configuration.
• Preferred experience with plotting software, e.g., JustPlot and JustIMAGE.
• Basic Windows administration experience.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps concepts.
• Familiarity with Containers, e.g., Docker.

Required:

• The Job Location is New Orleans, Louisiana. Remote work is permitted but may require client site visits in New Orleans.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management, or related field

In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rules, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position who works in Colorado is $93,000 - $130, 200. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on a number of factors, including work location, relevant experience (internal or external), technical skills, and other qualifications. The candidate may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on personal and/or company performance.
