  • Number of Beds - 21
  • Number of Staff – 45
  • Type of staff: Day Shift – 1 Charge Nurse with no patient assignment, 6-8 nurses
  • Night Shift - same
  • Patient Ratios – 2:1 ICU standard nurse to patient ratio, unless the pt is step down status then 3:1 or very high acuity, then 1:1
  • Type of equipment – Hospira IV pumps
  • EMR - Meditech
  • Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
  • Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Vasopressor IV drip titration, ventilator management, Care of Sepsis, arrhythmias, med/surg critical care patients
  • Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Cardiac experience, CRRT
  • Best personality Fit: Team oriented, Good sense of humor
    Schedule Information
  • Required to work every 3rd weekend, one major winter holiday, self-scheduling, float to Telemetry and other HealthOne hospitals

  • Small community hospital, patients are mostly elective, Magnet designated, Intensivist in ICU 24/7
