Logistics Supervisor Job Summary:
Coordinate and manage a team of Logistic, Inventory, and Fulfillment Coordinators and oversee preparation and shipping of finished product. This includes delivery of finished product to retail dispensaries, fleet management, designing and adjusting primary and secondary hubs and overall delivery strategy as demand dictates. You will be responsible for developing inventory tracking systems, reviewing levels of supplies, ordering new materials, and performing a daily analysis. Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manage the team of delivery drivers and warehouse personnel. This includes scheduling drivers, routes, warehouse hours, delivery times, coordinating with retail locations to ensure delivery times are staffed and supported.
- Developing inventory tracking systems, reviewing levels of supplies, ordering new materials, and performing a daily analysis. Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals.
- Train and manage a team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goalsCoordinate with inbound locations to ensure inbound schedule does not interfere with outbound schedule.
- Ensure all products are received tracked and manifested as required.
- Hire train, coach, and develop all warehouse personnel.
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
- Maintain a strategic growth plan to ensure current logistics plan is scalable and portable as demand dictates.
- Read and comprehend legal documents, such as contracts or import/export agreements.
- Understanding of principles of accounting and finance, and inventory management
- Collaborate with others from diverse backgrounds to identify problems and find solutions.
- Experience with scaling operations in a high growth environment. APICS -CSCP, CPIM, CLTD or similar certification.

Education and/or Experience
- 4-year degree or 10 years of Logistics or Supply chain in lieu of a degree
- 3-5 years’ experience leading a daily order fulfillment and logistics teams. Warehouse management, inventory accuracy, supervision of hourly warehouse personnel
Computer Skills
- WMS, Office Suite, and Excel experience desired
New York Hiring Range
$65,000—$73,000 USD
