Job Description

Position – Majesco Test Lead

Location – NJ (Hybrid)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Majesco Test Lead in QA to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 9 years of experience in quality assurance with a strong focus on the insurance domain, particularly with the Majesco platform.

As a Test Lead, you will be responsible for leading the QA efforts, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions, and managing a team of QA engineers.

Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Strategy:

• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases for the Majesco platform.

• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and development teams to understand requirements and define test scope.

• Test Execution and Management:

• Lead the QA team in executing functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

• Ensure all test cases are executed, and defects are logged, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.

• Conduct risk assessments and prioritize testing efforts based on project timelines and requirements.

• Automation and Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for test automation and drive the implementation of automation frameworks.

• Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Ensure that the automation scripts are maintained and updated regularly.

• Team Leadership and Mentorship:

• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, training, and support.

• Allocate tasks and resources effectively to ensure project deadlines are met.

• Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

• Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to ensure alignment on quality goals.

• Communicate test results, progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders effectively.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Majesco Platform Expertise:

• Leverage deep knowledge of the Majesco platform to ensure test coverage and quality.

• Provide subject matter expertise on Majesco-specific testing challenges and best practices.

• Stay updated with the latest Majesco product updates and releases to ensure alignment with testing activities.

• Required Qualifications:

• 6 to 9 years of experience in QA, with at least 3 years of experience working with the Majesco platform.

• Proven experience in leading QA teams and managing testing projects from start to finish.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, UFT, JUnit) and frameworks.

• Proficient in writing SQL queries for database validation.

• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured.

• Domain Expertise:

• In-depth understanding of the insurance domain, particularly property and casualty (P&C) insurance.

• Experience with Majesco’s core insurance platform, including policy, billing, and claims modules.

• Soft Skills:

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments, particularly in Azure or AWS.
