Salary Information: $117,058.50 - $175,597.50

Role responsibilities:

Let your skills shine as a Nurse Practitioner.

With no two patients or days alike, you'll collaborate to provide out-of-the-box, patient-focused strategies.  Here are a few of the responsibilities you can expect:

  • Conduct physical exams, assess health status, order and interpret tests, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans for hematology/oncology patients.
  • Round on inpatients, facilitate appropriate care, consult with physicians, and coordinate multidisciplinary care teams.
  • Provide ongoing patient support, including monitoring therapies, triaging patient calls, responding to emergencies, and counseling patients and families.
  • Maintain thorough and confidential documentation, participate in team meetings, and contribute to the advancement of oncology care.

Qualifications:

What you’ll need as a Nurse Practitioner.

  • Current New York State license and national certification as a Nurse Practitioner (Adult/Geriatric).
  • Master’s degree from an accredited school.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
