The Customer Communications Manager is responsible for developing integrated and strategic communications plans to optimize AES Indiana's customer programs and offerings. As we progress in our digital transition, we are engaging with our customers even more by enabling innovative technology that fosters a two-way dialog. Customer communications will build trust and provide resources to simplify and personalize the experience of our customers.

The ideal candidate is an excellent, versatile writer and editor who has experience crafting communications for a number of different audiences in digital and traditional media. This person is a big picture thinker who can help a wide variety of stakeholders translate their goals into creative campaigns. This position reports to the Chief Public Relations Officer.

Support the development, execution and monitoring of integrated customer communications campaigns.

Responsabilities:
  • Build and manage an editorial calendar.
  • Create compelling and engaging content for a diverse customer audience.
  • Champion brand standards, ensure all messaging and communications are aligned.
  • Assist in managing AES Utilities social media accounts. Post relevant content and monitor and respond to inquiries and comments from customers in a timely manner.
  • Define and track metrics to assess effectiveness of customer campaigns and marketing programs.
  • Manage the review process with internal stakeholders including Legal and Compliance.
  • Collaborate with Customer Operations and IT teams to automate tasks, actions, and message delivery.
  • Monitor customer successes and creating compelling customer case studies.
  • Provide support for crisis communications.


Qualifications:
  • BA or BS with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize across multiple projects with urgent deadlines.
  • Prior experience in digital marketing, CRM, managing and creating email marketing programs, database marketing, advanced analytics and consumer segmentation, consumer insights, multi-channel marketing and client relationship building desired.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Experience writing for digital channels and social media.
