How You'll Make an Impact:
Carter's is seeking an experience insights Manager to innovate digital experiences for crucial parental purchases. Our eCommerce team aims to enhance customer experience with seamless, enjoyable shopping.
As Manager, eCommerce Growth Initiatives, you will utilize data to develop customer-centric solutions, draw from various sources, and proficiently monitor key metrics via dynamic dashboards for organizational synergy. Your intuition, curiosity, and collaboration will be crucial in interpreting findings and delivering holistic end-to-end customer experiences.
This position works under the Sr. Director of eCommerce, who oversees UX, Product Management, Testing, and Analytics. It's based in our Buckhead, Atlanta office.
Identifying Growth Opportunities (50%)
- Manage data and direction for the eCommerce team, overseeing the capture and interpretation of data across web and mobile applications
- Translate complex data into clear and actionable insights that inform eCommerce decisions
- Conduct data analysis across multiple reports and systems through advanced analytics techniques related to digital sales, customer behavior, and conversion
- Identify opportunities and external trends that influence customer behavior and expectations
- Enable and train stakeholders on the use of analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Quantum Metrics, etc.) ensuring an understanding of what to monitor and how to self-serve
- Partners with Product Managers to define tagging and analytics requirements for development team's use
Evaluation, prioritization, and research (25%)
- Develop dynamic dashboards, visualizations, and reporting for ongoing experience monitoring
- Actively pursues customer feedback via VOC, user behavior monitoring, a/b tests, and usability research to identify future customer needs
- Contribute to competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, customer preferences
- Own and conduct research initiatives on cutting-edge techniques and tools in machine learning, along with research and analysis on customer behavior
- Effectively interpret data & findings to identify trends, opportunities, and actions
- Ensure end-to-end completion of eCommerce initiatives with consistent communication with relevant stakeholders
Creating the consensus (25%)
- Partner with Leadership to establish a clear vision for the future of digital experience based on the data/findings
- Utilize sound business judgement and clear communication when solving problems that stretch across multiple business verticals
- Strong influencing skills to quickly drive decisions that align with forward-looking eComm strategies with cross-functional Leadership
- Leverages strong business, financial, and organizational acumen to help craft solutions that solve multiple use cases
We'd Love to hear from you if:
- Bachelor's degree and ~3+ years of business development, analytics experience with a track record of delivering business value, or 5+ years of equivalent experience
- Demonstrated history of using data to drive strategic roadmaps
- Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills with experience confidently and credibly articulating a direction to gain consensus across multiple business units (Merchandising, Product Management, UX/UI, Marketing, etc.)
- Experienced with digital analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Quantum Metrics, Dynamic Yield, etc.)
- Experienced in creating business cases in order and supporting the solution all the way through execution
- Analytical, intuitive, and independent problem solver with an attention to detail
