The Role

Our ideal Manager, Finance - DTC thrives on analysis, collaboration, and effective communication. This role requires experience and passion for developing annual DTC channel budgets, strategic plans, and quarterly forecasts. The Manager will support the goals and strategies of Deckers by providing accurate financial forecasts, business case analysis and investment rationale, and play a key role supporting Deckers Executive Leadership and their organizations. This role will serve as the Finance Business partner for our North America Retail & e-Commerce teams and will also manage two direct reports who support each channel and their business leaders. This is a highly visible role that will work with senior leadership to drive financial discipline, create and streamline governance and process, and drive accountability to financial and departmental KPIs. A strong candidate will have a proven track record working in FP&A at a global public company with a strong DTC presence.

Your Impact

The primary functions of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the annual budget and quarterly forecast for our North America Direct-to-Consumer (NA DTC) teams to ensure financial goals are met and exceeded.
  • Lead and mentor a team of two direct reports, actively contributing to their professional growth by fostering the development of their skill set and business acumen.
  • Develop and deliver insightful reporting that empowers company leadership to make informed decisions regarding operational performance, financial strategy, and growth opportunities.
  • Drive efficiency in the business by streamlining reporting, processes, and communication, resulting in improved operational effectiveness and resource allocation.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and governance enhancements that standardize ways of working, provide actionable insights to leadership, and promote cross-functional collaboration across departments.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to consistently enhance our financial operations, delivering tangible value to the organization through cost savings, revenue optimization, and process efficiencies.

$135,000 - $140,000

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
