The Opportunity

This position works out of our Columbus, OH or Abbott Park, IL location in the Nutrition Division.

Main Purpose of the Role

• Abbott Nutrition Supply Chain - a global manufacturing organization comprising 14 manufacturing plants and 25+ third party manufacturers, supporting the $8BN Abbott Nutrition business - currently has an opening for a Finance Manager - Strategy, based in Lake County, Illinois and/or Columbus, Ohio. This position will report directly to the Strategic Finance Director Abbott Nutrition Supply Chain and provides financial leadership and support to the ANSC Network Strategy Director, with a focus on powder and liquid network capacity expansion & strategic initiatives.
• Individual will be an important financial leader in the development and execution of ANSC's network strategy as the supply chain expands to support the growth of the Nutrition business. This includes the planning and analysis in support of future capital investments, in addition to analysis in support of the execution of approved capital investments.

What You'll Work On

• Provide financial leadership and guidance to the Network Strategy team
• Strategic financial modeling & analysis on powder/liquid network to build investment scenarios and feed into recommendations for leadership
• DCFROI & NPV analysis on potential investments
• Standard cost analysis & cost estimates on new and existing products
• Financial projections in support of LBE's, Plans, and Business Reviews
• Other ad-hoc / special projects as required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU'LL BRING

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics
• 6+ years of experience in Financial Planning, Analysis, or Reporting role in Multinational Corporation environment

Required:

• Strong financial modelling & analytical skills
• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively across the organization with all levels of management
• Ability to manage many competing priorities, and execute in a pressurized environment
• Proficiency in excel
• Demonstrated track record of achievement and delivery in finance roles
