i Primary Position Objective

Manage the development and implementation of financial, accounting and tax systems delivering best-in-class capabilities that deliver innovative solutions for all global finance functions whilst optimizing daily and tactical finance operations.

ii Job Environment

This is a key managerial role in the IT Product Innovation organization that delivers on the vision for ResMed's financial systems. The role serves as the strategic business linkage between finance functions and IT at a Product Owner and business unit level. It provides highly-valued consulting level support and guidance through key IT initiatives, supporting the business in adoption of best practice using best-in-class solutions.

Finance application delivery is managed as products in an Agile environment in DHT-IT. This role manages the relevant Finance Squad that has specific responsibility for building, configuring, maintaining and enhancing finance products through their life cycle, as well as providing day to day support to users of these applications.

iii Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Working with the relevant Global Product Owner to ensure that applications work in a way that improves the business and technical fitness of the application portfolio and minimizes its ongoing support costs

• Work with the Global Product Owner as a key partner and subject matter expert in the support and delivery of application and business improvements that add value and support the business in achieving its commercial and strategic objectives

• Develop productive relationships with Global Product Owners and key users to influence how applications can enable new sources of value and ensure that value is realised and business outcomes are achieved

• Work with Senior Manager, Business Systems Applications and Senior Director - IT - Global Finance Systems to support the development overall IT strategy in the context of the business strategy and initiatives of the global Finance functions

• Identify and support user education opportunities that support the continuous improvement of ongoing application usage and encourage the development of a super user community

• Provide people leadership to squad members, develop their skills and capabilities to meet the needs of the organization, building on existing recruiting capabilities to address new needs and skills gaps

iv Position Specific Skills and Challenges

• Excellent documentation skills. Ensure that the squad develops clear detailed documentation that follows ResMed's internal control rigour

• Demonstrates good team-working skills, working with other squads and other functions to deliver successful outcomes

• Demonstrates a clear understanding of the environment in which ResMed operates, including the importance of regulatory and legal compliance

• Define "as-is" and "to-be" process, data flows and solutions with key business stakeholders and share with other Tribes & Squads

• Coordinate and lead medium to large IT initiatives and enhancements as required through concept, design, build and deploy stages

§ Qualifications and Experience

Minimum

• 11+ years' experience of working in financial application support and development

• Experience in implementing Oracle Financial Applications like AP, AR, GL, CE, FA and Cost Management

• 3-5 full life-cycle implementations in the above mentioned oracle modules

• Sound knowledge of financial applications and solutions supporting business processes

• Experience working on Cost Management module in Oracle

• Experience of working in a multi-national organization

• Experience documenting workflows with tools like MS Visio

• Experience/knowledge of accounting conventions and t importance of local legislative requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Preferred

• University degree or equivalent

• Previous experience in a supervisory role

• CPA, CA or similar qualification

• Accounting/Finance experience

• Certifications in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger or other Oracle financial modules

• Experience implementing Oracle R2R modules
