What You Will Be Doing

ChargePoint is looking for Manager, ITGC SOX who will help develop controls and processes to help comply with SOX ITGC controls. Manager will own the ITGC SOX program as part of second line of defense, oversee implementation of controls designed and continuously monitor compliance.

This will be an amazing opportunity to continue building our ITGC SOX program and own it. The individual will possess deep IT audit and compliance knowledge and will be tasked with the most demanding projects and assessments.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
  • Introduce innovative, differentiating capabilities that enhance our overall ITGC program and align risk strategies with business priorities
  • Establishes credibility and maintains a strong working relationship with key stakeholders across the business, internal and external auditors to understand their current and planned activities that impact ITGC SOX compliance.
  • Experience developing internal processes, policies and programs to comply with SOX and other regulations
  • Experience working with control owners and operators to validate the completeness and accuracy of ITGC control execution
  • Experience ensuring ITGC’s are designed, executed and monitored effectively and consistently through assessment, walkthroughs and audits
  • Experience addressing business issues and processes that impact both current and future IT systems that come into scope for ITGC control requirements
  • Experience managing IT SOX compliance activities, including annual planning, scoping, performing walk-throughs, documenting and analyzing procedures and controls and preparing and reviewing work papers
  • Train control owners and operators on the effective execution of ITGC and ensure all appropriate policies are being consistently applied across in-scope systems
  • Experience with reporting to track and monitor overall ITGC SOX assessment status for monthly and quarterly reporting to senior management

Requirements

  • 8+ years of audit and project management experience leading ITGC SOX activities and programs to support compliance efforts
  • 2+ years of leadership and management experience especially helping organizations comply to SOX
  • Deep knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley, COSO, COBIT, ISO 27001 and PCAOB Rules
  • Knowledge of other security control frameworks like NIST 800-53, PCI DSS is a plus
  • Solution-oriented mindset and risk-based approach to identifying, evaluating and addressing critical SOX 404 compliance risks, operational technology risks and the relevant business and governance processes
  • Experience working with and managing both internal and external auditors
  • Familiarity with SAAS applications like NetSuite, Coupa, UKG, Git, AWS from ITGC SOX perspective and ability to understand home grown systems
  • Familiarity with tools to track and manage control compliance
  • Experience reporting policy and compliance posture to senior stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence broad range of stakeholders (Engineering, IT, Legal, Auditors, Product, Finance, etc.)

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $77,500 to $201,250. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
