ABOUT THE ROLE

Peloton is looking for a passionate and hardworking Media Manager (Channel Management) to join its media team! Working in a fast-paced environment, this role will be responsible for driving performance and executions across several channels. Reporting to the US Senior Manager of Media Strategy, you will have a deep executional cross-channel understanding of the traditional media landscape including TV, OTT, Streaming Audio, Podcasts, Direct Mail, & OOH in the US Market. Your day to day will include close attention to detail and digging into channel performance to ensure we are executing our channel strategy efficiently and effectively.  You will work closely with external agency partners and cross-functional teams across Marketing (including Media and Lifecycle, Product Marketing, Creative, Analytics, and Insights) and beyond.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

  • Full ownership of planning & execution of Peloton’s offline paid media activity including: 
    • Channel Strategy & tactics
    • Budget management and pacing
    • Always-on optimizations across all available levers
    • Weekly reporting including creation and maintenance of dashboards 
    • Structuring tests to improve efficiency
    • Testing calendars long and short term
    • Relationship management with publishers, vendors, and agency partners
    • Staying up to date on the most current channel offerings to test into
  • Activation of media including budget management and testing in partnership with our media agency
  • Ability to analyze data rapidly, pull out the most valuable insights, implement into channel plans, and cascade takeaways during weekly reporting discussions
  • Drive improved performance through ad hoc analysis to assess how we can improve performance on an ongoing and weekly basis
  • Manage day-to-day media agency relationship to ensure execution against our strategy is working properly
  • Partner with the Creative team to ensure media and creative strategy are tightly aligned and checking the box on best practices
  • Project manage campaigns to ensure teammates and agencies meet key achievements and campaign launches on time

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

  • 5+ years of media management experience
  • Must be a self starter who is comfortable working independently and owning workstreams
  • Deep knowledge of advertising channels including TV, OTT, Streaming Audio, Podcasts, Direct Mail, & OOH and how to best optimize each for efficiency
  • Experience managing media in the US
  • Hands-on experience managing campaign kick off’s from channel planning stage through to campaign live and on to wrap up reporting phase
  • Knowledge of offline channel measurement such as MMM and attribution models
  • Experience working with creative teams to influence content to deliver meaningful business outcomes
  • Experience driving Mobile App downloads preferred including Mobile Measurement partner experience (ex: Appsflyer)
  • Experience with creative A/B testing and buy optimization testing
  • A growth mindset to ensure you’re keeping our media plans on pace with the most current industry learnings for each channel
  • Analytical skills, project management skills and ability to identify data-driven insights
  • High level of proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (Looker experience a bonus)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent project management skills with strong attention to detail, bias for action, and organization
  • Comfort operating independently in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes. Base Salary Range
$138,800—$180,400 USD
