Manager - Procurement

Job Description:
We are looking for a seasoned and strategic procurement professional to join our growing procurement team, focusing on the efficient acquisition of indirect goods and services. You will play a key role in developing & implementing cost-saving strategies, managing supplier relationships, and leading a team of buyers towards achieving procurement goals. • Implement procurement strategies for assigned categories of indirect goods and services . • Conduct market research, identify qualified suppliers, and negotiate favorable contracts. • Manage the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process for your assigned categories, ensuring efficiency and compliance. • Analyze market trends, cost structures, and identify opportunities for cost reduction. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and achieving win-win outcomes. • Mentor and guide Buyers within the team, providing support and training. • Oversee adherence to company policies and procedures during procurement processes. Skills/ Knowledge required • Minimum 5+ years of experience in procurement, with a strong focus on indirect goods and services. • Proven track record of successfully implementing cost-saving initiatives in procurement. • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex data and identify trends. • Experience with procurement software and technologies (e.g., e-sourcing tools) is a plus. • Understanding of commercial factors, contracts, and legal terms is essential. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Strong leadership skills to mentor and motivate team members.
