Job Description
About the role:
The Manager of Project Services will be responsible for a team of customer-facing Technical Project Consultants who provide technical expertise, project implementation, and execution for our customers through the Quickbase platform. As a key member of the Customer Success team, you will partner with Sales, Customer Success Managers, Project Managers, Product Trainers, and Solution Architects to shape the operations and inspire this highly motivated and experienced group of technical experts. You will ensure the team provides the product knowledge and technical insights for both new and existing customers and demonstrate the power of the low-code/no-code platform for solving real business problems from small and mid-market businesses to large, strategic enterprises. This opportunity allows you to join a collaborative management team and define the future direction of technical project consulting at Quickbase. The Manager of Project Services will report to the Director of Project Services and will have responsibilities including but not limited to the following:

Lead Technical Project Consultant team and one on one meetings to promote development, educational opportunities and team problem solving strategies.

Interview, hire, train, develop and grow talented Technical Project Consultants through coaching, mentoring, continuous evaluation, and feedback.

Work with Sales, Project Management, Customer Success, Enablement Consultants, Customer Education, and Product Management to ensure successful project execution and continuous growth and satisfaction for our customers.

Implement and develop departmental policies and procedures to continuously improve upon efficiency and process for the Project Services department.

Interact with internal and client technical project teams as they need assistance or guidance.

Ensure successful delivery of technical project consulting services through effective project, engagement, and customer management

Set employee goals and conduct bi-annual performance reviews.

Work with Customer Success leadership to ensure best practices are implemented for the long-term success of the Project Services department, larger Customer Success department and the Quickbase organization.

Partner with Customer Success leadership to ensure that high level department and company strategy is executed at the tactical level, ensuring that KPI-driven metrics align to department and company-level standards of excellence.

Evaluate the team's performance against target goals and standards, taking appropriate corrective action when needed

Maintain excellent customer relations by addressing all customer concerns and mediating solutions between all parties involved

Assist with team resource assignment & allocation based on resource utilization and customer needs.
The Manager of Project Services must be able to perform all duties of a Sr. Technical Project Consultant.
You will have:
-
4+ years of Quickbase experience with a strong focus on project execution and implementation.

A Masters/Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.

4+ years managing project teams in a Technical Lead or equivalent role
-
4+ years of relational based database design and integration experience.

4+ years' experience involving automation/system integration tools such as Zapier, Workato, Pipelines, MS Flow

Fundamental understanding of web service technology (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON) and scripting languages (JS, ReactJS, Node.JS, .NET).

Curiosity about Business Process, experience in optimizing and automating processes

Management/implementation/tracking of programming standards/best practices across an organization

Experience providing senior-level support to technical project teams

Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau etc.)

Familiarity with project management concepts, business process mapping and process improvement strategies.
