ICU Manager

Responsibilities:

• This position serves as the clinical leader responsible for operations and management of the ICU unit.

• The Nurse Manager assumes responsibility for shift operations such as making appropriate assignments, coordinating care, resolving issues, functioning as the resource nurse, participating in staffing decisions, rounding on patients, and maintaining TJC compliance.

• The Nurse Manager assumes long range responsibilities such as employee evaluations, corrective action, business/budget, planning, and performance improvement.

Job Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with New Jersey Board of Nursing
• Graduate of a NLN/AACN accredited program in nursing
• BSN required
• ACLS and BLS required

Preferred Job Requirements

• 2 years' experience as a Charge Nurse or Relief Charge Nurse preferred
• 2 years' experience in an ICU in a hospital setting preferred

• Extensive healthcare industry expertise that will help you map out your career
