*This position will take part in Elevance Health's hybrid work model which includes remote work and 0-4 days in office per month.
The Manager Talent Acquisition is responsible for overseeing the execution of a functional talent acquisition strategy, as outlined by the Director of Core TA. This position leads the development and execution of strategies to source and attract the best candidates to meet the growing demand for talent at Elevance Health all through the lens of diversity and inclusion.
How You Will Make an Impact:
- Lead a team of Talent Scouts to employ an innovative approach to recruiting using internet sourcing, recruiting campaigns, including organizing events, to strengthen awareness of the company brand in the community.
- Consult with management and cross functional teams when implementing sourcing strategies to proactively identify candidates and assemble diverse pipelines of talent for identified jobs.
- Leverage the Talent Scout team and stakeholders across the organization to implement talent sourcing strategies that deliver the best talent across all professional roles at Elevance Health.
- Ensures alignment with people strategies through managing a team of Talent Scouts.
- Ensure day-to-day talent acquisition activities are aligned with business unit workforce strategies.
- Identify areas for improvement for day-to-day talent acquisition processes.
- Creates and monitors talent acquisition performance KPIs / SLAs and adjusts strategy and processes accordingly for continuous improvement Interface with Talent Acquisition Strategy Managers to gain insight into business talent needs.
- Partners with diversity team, human resource business partners, employee relations and legal to ensure policy, practice and process are regulatory and legal.
- Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a BA degree in HR related field and/or marketing or communications field; 6 plus years of talent acquisition experience, with at least five (5) years leading talent acquisition or HR teams; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences
- Experience creating talent acquisition-related strategies such as process improvement strategic sourcing, diversity initiatives, etc. required.
- Experience managing the performance of a third-party, RPO partners required. In-depth knowledge of the talent acquisition landscape in health insurance industry.
- Extensive experience in conduct searches or sourcing, either full cycle corporate or agency recruitment, to include developing and executing creative and innovative solutions utilizing a variety of tools and technology
- Experience in advanced sourcing methods including but not limited to: email extractions, browser extensions, people aggregators, and X-ray searching.
- Knowledge with systems and tools that support sourcing, application tracking systems, data integrity, and workplace collaboration.
- Masters degree preferred.
- Professional HR/TA Certification(s) strongly preferred.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $96,444-$167,508.
