What impact you'll make

As the Engineering Manager for our Turbine Rotor and Generator products and processes you lead the manufacturing engineering team and ensure that the necessary technical documentation, equipment, and tools for production of Rotors and Generators are available on time and to the required level of quality.

Job Description

What you'll do

• Ensure that work is performed in terms of safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and regulatory compliance.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor development and improvement projects as well as introduction of new products (NPI).
• Lead budget and Capex execution for Rotor and Generator projects.
• Implement risk (FMEA) and cost benefit analysis for every new development and process optimization.
• Support NCR processing together with the Quality Team and Production.
• Clear communication to key customer / business priorities to employees and ensure an open reporting culture.
• Collaborate cross-divisional to ensure and meet the business requirements.
• Identify career development routes for all team members and promote growth and development of the team and manage resource imbalances in the team through polyvalence.
• Stay up to date with new technologies and drive innovation in the organization.

What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)

• Master's degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience, with a strong knowledge of Rotor and Generator design and manufacturing processes.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification is an advantage

• Good leadership skills - Decision-making, convincing, good communicator, and assertiveness
• Very good German and English skills in spoken and written

• Drive forward solution-oriented thinking and actions
• Good organization and coordination skills
