WHAT YOU'LL DO
Drive, not ride. With a dedication to service, our Sales team goes out and executes in the market. That’s how you build relationships. In this role, you will be rooted in the promotion and growth of the Sparkling ICE/Talking Rain business across the Colorado and Wyoming landscape. You will be instrumental in helping manage our Distributor network in this market while aligning with our Key Account team to execute on retail activity.
Reports to: Regional Sales Manager
Direct Reports: Field Sales Specialist
Base Salary: $60,000 - $90,0000 (depending on experience)
Annual Bonus Potential: 20% of annual base salary. Eligibility is based on the company hitting annual financial targets.
Base Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 (depending on experience)
(Note: This range is a regional average, but compensation will be reviewed based on geographical location and may adjust up or down depending on the location where applicant will be working. Compensation will also depend on experience.)
Plus, a stipend to cover your time on the road.
Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential targeted distribution channels and creating avenues to increase volume.

Establish goals, identify priorities, provide direction, tools, and resources; and recognize accomplishments in a timely manner.

Build relationships and rapport with distributors and retailers, providing excellent customer service and maintaining localized customer relations with the base.

Leverage relationships with retail chain buyers in the assigned markets.

Serve as a flexible partner with distributors in your region, executing distributor sales incentives by establishing routine route rides and assisting Sales Managers with sales calls in order to keep orders on track.

Recommend changes in pricing, products, services, distribution, merchandising equipment, and techniques by evaluating results and competitive trend developments.

Prepare and deliver sales presentations on new products to existing customers and distributors, providing product information and tips on sales techniques, distribution, as well as volume driven programs.

In conjunction with the Regional Manager, develop annual budget, monitoring throughout the year for opportunities for greater efficiency and cost reduction.

Provide month end expense reports with details on any budget variances.

Foster a collaborative culture of trust, accountability, and performance, empowering Rain Makers to reach their potential.

Ensure food safety, quality, and SQF practices are followed at all times, notifying immediate manager of any food safety and/or quality issues.

Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
WHAT YOU BRING

Minimum of five (5) years of sales experience, ideally in beverage or consumer packaged goods.

Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including SharePoint.

Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule, occasionally working evenings and weekends as needed for special assignments, traveling 40-50% of the year.

Professional appearance and demeanor.

Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Ability to lift and carry 35 lbs. repetitively and up to 75 lbs. occasionally, as well as to push and pull up to 100 lbs. regularly.
This role is safety sensitive. This means that as part of your core responsibilities you will be regularly responsible for your own safety and/or the safety of others (e.g., driving on behalf of the company, working in a warehouse/plant environment).
