Requirements
The Role
As the Marketing Automation Manager, you will be working closely with a senior growth team of designers, developers, marketing specialists and project managers. You will be responsible for owning the marketing automation platform and fully leveraging its capabilities. You will be responsible for engaging acquired users as well as cultivating prospects. This role will implement all programmatic and operational initiatives through the marketing automation platform and customer data platform (CDP).
How you can make an impact:• Serve as the primary administrator of the marketing automation tools, workflows, and data integrations• Maintain Marketing Automation integration with the CDP and assist in the integration of additional platforms into the marketing automation software• Own the email marketing program development and execution, including segmentation, testing, and deployment, and continually evaluate these for improvements.• Work with management to define KPIs, create reporting, analyze campaign performance.• Devise new marketing strategies and campaigns on your own or in a team.• Plan and perform A/B testing to define and execute enhancements to productivity, conversion rates, programs/campaign ROI, and sales growth• Analyze audience data to produce insights, identify opportunities for improvement and report on key metrics• Conduct regular audits of data quality in the marketing automation system and take corrective action as needed
Your experience:• We recognize not everyone will meet all of the criteria. If you meet most of the criteria below and you're excited about the opportunity and willing to learn, we'd love to hear from you.• 3-5 years experience with marketing automation platforms and CDPs, including Braze, Active Campaign, mParticle, Mixpanel, Segment, Tableau, etc.• Experience developing and managing email marketing strategies and campaigns for eCommerce• Must be highly organized and self-motivated with a sense of urgency.• Solid understanding of eCommerce and sales nurturing processes• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS• Experience with A/B testing and other optimization methodologies
