Marketing Automation Manager II

As a Marketing Automation Manager II, you will strategize and implement all automated campaigns for the marketing department. This includes owning automated workflow creation, lead nurturing, email marketing, and database segmentation to support program optimization. This role is highly technical and strategic in nature and demands a highly inquisitive mind.

What you'll do

  • Establishing a range of automated marketing campaigns based on various criteria.
  • Reviewing existing marketing campaigns across the business and automating where appropriate.
  • Creating and continuously optimizing lead nurturing workflows to deliver a steady stream of qualified leads.
  • Managing various email campaign elements, including but not limited to email body design, CTAs, and subject lines.
  • Developing and maintaining email marketing best practices like making sure emails are CAN-SPAM compliant.
  • Conducting A/B testing on email campaigns to maximize results.
  • Minimizing list decay and unsubscribes while increasing the engagement of our email sends.
  • Segmenting audiences and optimizing campaigns to increase effectiveness.
  • Working collaboratively to report on all campaigns, make changes where necessary, and ensure automated campaigns achieve company goals.

What we're looking for

  • Experience with marketing and sales technologies, including CRM (Salesforce.com list imports and reporting/dashboards preferred), marketing automation (Marketo), and other web-based technologies
  • Extremely detail-orientated and excellent time management, decision-making, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to comfortably communicate cross-functionally
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Proficiency with On24 or similar webinar platform preferred
  • Experience successfully working in a collaborative, team environment
  • Experience with B2B digital marketing platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, SalesLoft and Sendoso or similar platform
  • Well-versed in today's current marketing technology stack
  • Excellent understanding of email marketing concepts and metrics such as Open and Click rates, deliverability, and sender reputation.
  • Highly analytical and able to derive meaning from data through A/B testing and email optimization.
  • Excellent writer and communicator (in both written and verbal form)
