Role and Responsibilities:

Accountabilities:

  • Create and implement a written multi-year strategic marketing program and brand consistency throughout internal and external marketing channels (i.e., print, digital, verbal) to ensure the Tucker brand is synonymous with the company’s Core Values, curating growth results. Included, but not limited to: 

    • Prepare Press Releases, send to appropriate outfits, closely manage publications/media relationships, and ensure publication and internally archive them.
    • Webinars - Coordinate monthly webinar campaign, including creating and editing slide content, presentation design, promotion through social and email, hosting live webinar recordings, uploading content to YouTube and facilitating post-event distribution to maximize Tucker brand footprint. 
    • Podcasts/Blogs to ensure Tucker’s external partners stay updated with the company’s strategic plans and milestones. 
    • Manage, report on and promote survey results both internally and externally (e.g., Customer Feedback Survey, Customer Onboarding Survey, Top Workplace Energage Survey, Customer of the Month, etc.) to continuously revise retention and engagement strategies. 
    • Manage staff position and college interns to support departmental activities as may be required. 
    • Manage third party resources to augment departmental activities and work.

Responsibilities: 

  • General Marketing, including: 

    • Manage multichannel marketing campaigns, including the management and execution of the design, ordering, delivery and inventory of all print marketing, various collateral, promotional items, and general merchandise (One-sheets, Beautiful America calendars, holiday gifts (external to carriers and customers/internal), etc.) advertising in publications,), and KPI measurement and reporting.
    • Manage the communication for and execution of all external events ensuring Tucker customers, prospects, vendors, trade organizations and media outlets are connected to the Tucker brand (Tradeshows [booth buying/maintaining, preparation of or mailing of materials/booth, etc., setup at event, media work, etc.], speaking events [in-person and virtual], all before- and after-event email communication) 
  • Digital Marketing

    • Design and maintain websites and general web presence to drive the Tucker brand, including SEO, KPI reporting and inquiry management and maintenance of design/collaborative tools (e.g., Canva, Linktree, etc.).
      • Keep track of customer-facing websites (e.g., tuckerco.com, Tucker’s Customer Portal, etc.) and review for accuracy, content, design, and functionality; updating content and layout as needed to ensure external partners receive most relevant information. 
      • Coordinate all communications with subscribers and web developers to keep projects moving along efficiently and inform stakeholders of the progress
      • Provide recommendations to improve UX and revenue-driving improvements by regularly performing competitive analysis and evaluating internal data and content updates.
      • Optimize SEO (e.g., local pages, keywords, suggestions from 3rd party vendors, etc.) 
      • Handle inquiries from all online sources and outgoing correspondence (e.g., customer prospect emails, client referral emails to customers, etc.) to develop external cultural ambassadors.
  • Design and maintain social media, graphics and videos to drive the Tucker brand and maximize external footprint to generate attraction, retention, and engagement, including SEO, KPI reporting, and inquiry management.

    • Develop new social creatives, landing pages, and infographics to support our social media efforts. This includes, but is not limited to: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube etc.) 
    • Digitally ‘Impersonate’ senior leaders (at the direction of the company) and post on their behalf 
    • Coordinate Team Member anniversary posts
    • Monitor the results of competitive promotions 
    • LinkedIn Newsletter, LinkedIn Ads and credits, etc. 
    • Google Ads outcomes 
    • Present KPIs to CEO at regular intervals (e.g. , Google Analytics, etc.) 
    • Creation and maintenance of CRM (HubSpot) landing pages, forms, workflows and lists to ensure all marketing efforts are targeted, efficient and effective in helping us to achieve our growth goals


Team Member Engagement: 

  • Manages Marketing responsibilities of New Team Member Onboarding process to ensure new team members are consistently and efficiently integrated into the company in a meaningful way (Headshots, Business Cards, and entering new team members in HubSpot).
  • Collaborate with People and Culture to ensure team member work anniversaries and various milestones (e.g., birthdays, showers, holiday parties, etc.) are timely and efficiently celebrated according to process to ensure team members feel they are contributing to meaningful work outcomes (Prepare Team Member milestone presentations, Creation and distribution of BHN Rewards).
  • Promotes all company events, activities, and gifts for HQ, remote, and LSG team members to help maximize team member engagement and enhance culture of belonging. 
  • Creates and manages Tucker Times content and distribution efforts to ensure timely, relevant, and informative company updates and action items are communicated to all team members to retain talent and promote a culture of belonging.

 External Engagement, Reputation Management and Travel:

  • Manage various memberships to create connectedness throughout the industry and the ability for team members to promote Tucker and make connections to drive market share and revenue. 
  • Deliver company sentiments to external customer, vendors, etc. when there is a milestone (e.g., promotion, wedding, loved one passing away, etc.) (currently these are e-sentiments, but may want to rethink approach to a handwritten card from senior leadership, etc.).
  • Monitor alerts and review and engagement as needed to maintain a positive company reputation (Google Alerts, respond to positive and/or negative reviews, etc.).
  • This role is expected to travel to some trade shows and customer events sponsored by the Company, to support the company, the team members, and especially to better understand our customers and our market segments, including what motivates them. 
  • From time-to-time perform competitive assessment of all digital marketing efforts to identify opportunities to improve processes using industry best practices.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with People and Culture to manage talent acquisition strategy that creates Tucker brand awareness, cultural ambassadors, attracts high-caliber talent and promotes current openings and workplace culture to help strengthen active and passive candidate pipeline.
  • Collaborate with People and Culture to create a promotion strategy to highlight Tucker’s total rewards program to retain and attract top talent. 
  • Collaborate with People and Culture to ensure training and development materials and graphics support strategic goals. 
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and subject matter experts to distribute meaningful supply chain industry insights.
  • As requested, creation of PowerPoint Presentations, involved in meeting preparation (e.g., integrated marketing, staff meetings, business development meetings, etc.), and engagement in special projects.

Qualifications and Education Requirments: 

  • 3+ years managing a marketing department and its strategic plan. 
  • 5+ years of experience managing multiple marketing department duties.
  • Experience working with websites, social, and all digital channel placements.
  • Bachelor’s degree, concentration in Marketing preferred (but not required).
  • Creativity: understanding of the importance of brand consistency and how it should appear across channels.
  • Must be proactive, and able to act independently and with a team.
  • Excellent communication skills: must clearly, concisely, and creatively communicate both orally and in writing.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment; act with a sense of urgency and respond quickly.
  • Contribute positively to the organization, both individually and as part of a team.
  • Intermediate Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite skills.
  • Experience working with Google Analytics, CRM experience, preferably HubSpot, SEMrush, WordPress, and other relevant platforms.

Preferred Skills:

  • Some experience working with senior leadership
  • Experience integrating CRM and ERP systems
  • Strong collaborative skills and experience working with sales and business development leadership
  • Strong understanding of organizational challenges as they relate to marketing and how to overcome them Master’s degree preferred, but not required.
