Job Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate the development and implementation of promotions and events including drawings, giveaways, parties, special events, National and Regional Entertainment etc.; assesses the effectiveness of all promotions and events
- Correspond with guests to maintain good relationships; coaches Marketing Coordinators to develop positive, service-oriented relationships with guests
- Implement, maintain, and measure VIP Hosts new business, retention, and reactivation efforts
- Work with Agency in hiring National Acts, negotiating contracts, ticket scaling, and day of show execution
- Work with Tour & Production Managers for National acts and communicate with the assigned Marketing Coordinator to ensure all Production and Hospitality Riders are fulfilled
- Assist in the development of annual business plans for Marketing that identify revenue potential and describes marketing programs and services that will attain acceptable levels of revenue
- Implement the business plan in order to achieve planned revenue and profit; anticipate and react to changes in planning assumptions and alter plans as necessary
- Determine financial effectiveness of programs and manages marketing expenses to budget. Analyze cost and revenue reports for areas of responsibility and recommend actions to be taken
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and endorse business objectives, ethics, and values of the company and property
- Assist in the execution of gaming promotions and player development events. Ensure objectives and budgets are being met
- Direct support staff, contractors, and vendors as necessary to successfully accomplish promotions and entertainment needs
- Coordinate event needs with Food & Beverage, IT, Security, Players Club, and other requested services offered
- Generate all necessary material requests, check requests, and support material to ensure all invoices are paid promptly
- Oversee the execution of Entertainment Riders
- Manage ticket on-sale dates for Ticketmaster
- Provide information and explain Players Club benefits, property amenities, and marketing programs to guests
- Write and edit copy; proofread marketing materials for accuracy
- Plan and execute the Marketing calendar to drive optimal financial results
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Training/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field required.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in the hospitality industry
- Must be able to acquire a Gaming/Racing License from the KHRC.

- Management abilities demonstrated in managing assigned duties
- Maintaining interpersonal working relationships among personnel and the public
- Serves as a leader for team members while fostering teamwork, positive morale, motivation, open communication.
- Oral and written communication skills
- Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the position.
Prerequisites: The ideal candidate is an energetic and highly intelligent administrative professional with outstanding organization skills. Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
