Job Description
The Marketing Manager defines and owns the marketing strategy, plan and deliverables for Health Solutions in Korea. Has in depth understanding of market, customers and users and applies this understanding to increase marketing effectiveness across these international markets. Focus on developing localized campaigns and ensuring multi-channel execution to drive growth and maintain Elsevier's leading position in the health market. Leverage digital expertise, data-driven insights, customer engagement and innovative marketing strategies to achieve business objectives. Works closely with product, Sales, Commercial and Account Development.Â
Implement marketing strategy and programs
• Marketing Tactics - Responsible for strategic planning tactical execution and implementation of all marketing programs in Korea, including marketing collaterals, promotional items, customer communications, etc.
• Vendor Management - Manage and negotiate with marketing vendors to ensure strategic alignment and excellence in deliverables
• Event Management -collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effectiveness in event execution and align events with overall marketing strategy
• Lead Management - Develop and implement strategies to generate qualified leads for business growth by increasing a conversation rate through optimized marketing activities targeting hospitals and academic institutions
• Integrate with central teams to ensure campaign objectives are understood and communicated, campaign milestones hit, and relevant adjustments made based on requirements and/or market shifts
• Manage marketing budget with high-level of detail. Design and manage marketing metrics that measure marketing effectiveness and ROI.
• Will be expected to learn and acquire a basic understanding of Elsevier’s full suite of Health solutions
Operate and optimize local digital channels
• Manage Korea social media & local website and engagement strategy
• Design, implement, and optimize email marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement and retention.
• Liaise with APAC digital marketing strategy
• Grow and nurture Korea end-user marketing database including engagement metrics, effectiveness
• Collaborate with internal and external ecommerce channels to drive online sales
• Optimise spend and performance across social channels
• Share best practises to optimise web content across elsevier.com instances to increase traffic and improve SEO
Streamline existing processes and leverage date
• Manage and oversee various marketing channels
• Align and measure ROI and OKRs within central reporting tools.
• Track and measure SEO and Analytics metrics
Manage thought leadership events
• Planning and execution of seminars to promote our products
• Strategic and strong relationship management with KOLs and C-levels of hospital and academic institutions
• Logistics management

Requirements
• B2B marketing experienceÂ
• Background in health content preferred (but not mandatory)
• Experience strategic planning and working of mid to large sized projects
• Experience working of marketing collaterals and content creationÂ
• Experience working with reporting platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Tableau etc
• Experience managing external consultants and agencies
• Experience managing external key opinion leaders (C-levels) and thought-leadership events
• Experience managing various digital marketing including SEO, SEM, Owned Media (corporate and product website, social media), CRM, etc.
• Experience working in an international organization
• Experience managing a budget, forecasting and creating and driving strategy
