Marketing Operations Associate – Brilliant Earth, Secaucus    

Position Overview:     

We are seeking a bright, motivated, and experienced Marketing Operations Associate, with excellent attention to detail, to join our Marketing Operations Department. As a Marketing Operations Associate, you will facilitate the ongoing inventory and product sample operations work that supports the Brand and Marketing team. You will manage the organization, shipping, receiving, and tracking of jewelry samples to both internal and external marketing partners, such an VIPs, celebrities, and influencers, and the organization and tracking of product samples for photoshoots. You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely within your department, as well as across the organization to ensure our goals related to product imagery, operations, and partnerships are achieved.

This role requires full-time in-office attendance in our Secaucus, NJ facility.  

Key Responsibilities Include:     

• Work closely with Brand, Marketing, PR and Operations teams to organize and facilitate product sample pulls and shipments for both large and small scale photoshoots, in addition to day-to-day product sample and inventory needs. 
• Place, track, quality-assure, ship and receive all VIP, celebrity, and influencer products for one-off, ongoing or campaign partnership initiatives, with high discretion and attention to detail. 
• Manage the data entry and tracking of a high volume of inventory in support of various Brand, Marketing and PR efforts, paying close attention to detail and data accuracy. 
• Work cross-functionally with Brand, Marketing, and Operations - to improve workflows and drive forward operational process efficiencies as the team and product volume needs scales. 
• Support Brand, Marketing, PR, and Creative teams with special projects as identified. 

  Specific Qualifications Include:     

• 2+ years’ experience in an operational or inventory-focused role with the managing and handling of physical products/merchandise. 
• Ability to effectively balance multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and maintain a high level of adaptability, organization, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.  
• Approaches challenges with thoughtfulness, drive, and appropriate urgency, works well with strict deadlines and thrives in adapting environments.   
• Ability to work individually and as a team player to execute projects     
• Ability to work cross-functionally with remote and in-person teams  
• Pro-active and can-do attitude, no task to big or small 
• Experience with inventory management software, order management systems, and/or similar ERP systems (NetSuite a plus)  and processes. 
• Experience working with large quantities of SKUs simultaneously  
• Excellent written and verbal communication  
• Interest in socially and environmentally responsible organizations and products     
• BA degree or equivalent, preferred
