Job Summary:

THE ROLE

Reporting to the VP - Marketing APAC, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for successfully delivering marketing campaigns for Ticketmaster’s attraction clients. They will be responsible for executing and continually evaluating campaigns in accordance with the local marketing strategy, working towards maximising ticket sales across multiple attraction-related events.

This role will suit someone who loves digital marketing, They will work across genres with a strong day-to-day emphasis on multi-channel communications and performance marketing.

The successful candidate will be a natural multi-tasker with a good understanding of International and local attraction events. As well as a strong understanding and/or experience within the local venue scene. We are also looking for someone with knowledge and/or a background in determining performance metrics and interpreting data to help optimise marketing performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working closely with the Sales, Client Marketing Managers and Client Services teams, to help develop and implement marketing plans and programs to drive ticket sales for venues and promoters.

  • Develop and drive new marketing initiatives to support Ticketmaster products that enhance the consumer buying experience.

  • Producing compelling data and insight reports – provide key online metrics and recommendations.

  • Liaise with International marketing, State Teams and Ticketmaster Clients nationally to devise regular schedules for updating and coordinating marketing services.

  • Liaise with key client marketing teams to ensure the flow of information, branding and content for event promotion.

  • Work closely with the social, content & communication manager to help amplify event exposure and support the fan experience during on-sales.

  • Work closely with the CRM team to find promotional opportunities while maintaining the health of Ticketmaster’s database

  • Present opportunities and marketing plans to current and prospective clients

  • Support any new or existing business initiatives where required

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS)

  • An advanced understanding of the contemporary Digital marketing environment, Ad technology, and data-driven online advertising

  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal

  • Experience with emarketing tools such as Exact Target, Mail Chimp

  • Experience with Salesforce marketing and support cloud

  • Experience with large databases and database management

  • A solid understanding of social media channels and how to best maximise them to achieve KPI’s

  • An understanding of online reporting tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Omniture

  • Experience working with project tracking and team collaboration software such as JIRA, Confluence and Slack

  • An understanding of the live entertainment and/or ticketing industry

  • Strong understanding of the International and local music scene

  • An understanding of the local venue scene

  • Have digital campaign experience

  • Ability to confidently present materials in an open internal forum.

  • Tertiary qualification in Digital media, marketing, media, sales or relevant business discipline (ideal)

  • Advanced MS Word and PowerPoint, intermediate Excel skills

  • Poses the ability to apply strategic and innovative thinking to generate creative marketing solutions outside the realm of standard practices
