Marketing Strategist

WellSky is looking for a Marketing Strategist to join the Marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for researching, developing, and communicating strategic marketing plans to meet the company's goals. You will lead and optimize marketing efforts for company, solution and client campaigns, and collaborate with multifunctional teams to execute them.

This position requires a combination of strategy and execution. You will lead the way with research and messaging and then run comprehensive multi-faceted campaigns. You will fuel the growth of key markets and segments by incorporating a deep understanding of the market, solutions and users into the positioning, messaging and tactics designed to resonate with buyers.

A day in the life! 

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Create marketing strategies to promote thought leadership, launch and market new solutions
  • Ensure marketing strategies align with overall business strategy
  • Plan, create, own, and maintain multi-channel campaigns (email, webinars, in-person events, social, search, advertising).
  • Manage creative and development for demand generation programs which may include but not limited to copywriting, content marketing and product marketing.
  • Leverage and collaborate with events, communications, creative and revenue marketing shared services teams to implement marketing strategies and programs
  • Use customer feedback to ensure client satisfaction
  • Facilitate customer advocacy (including referrals, written and video testimonials, references), and increase loyalty and retention
  • Oversee marketing programs and ensure channel effectiveness, measurable results, and timely follow-up by sales team.
  • Monitor and report marketing and sales pipeline performance
  • Analyze KPI data and provide recommendations to the marketing and business stakeholders
  • Work closely with sales team build strategies and execute tactics to support sales, and actively monitor and report on MQL generation, conversion, and influence.
  • Create and evolve messaging for presentations and outbound talk tracks to optimize for conversion.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and serve as a subject matter expert and go-to resource
  • May be expected to travel as much as 10-15% of the time to represent the company at tradeshows and internal events around the country.

Do you have what it takes?

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Management, Communications, or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of marketing experience, including program strategy development, execution, and reporting
  • Track record of planning and managing multiple campaigns on tight deadlines
  • Must understand functional aspects of campaign management
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools (Salesforce.com and Marketo preferred) and website analytics tools (Google Analytics, Omniture, or Webtrends)
  • Track record of building relationships with sales, product, services, and other internal teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Experience:

  • Healthcare technology industry experience
