Master Carpenter – Manhattan, NY (Full-Time, On-Site) We are seeking a highly skilled and experiencedMaster Carpenterfor a full-time, on-site role inManhattan, NY. This position involves a wide range of carpentry responsibilities including structural framing, detailed finish work, blueprint interpretation, and hands-on use of both power and hand tools. The ideal candidate is precise, reliable, and takes pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities: • Perform all aspects of rough and finish carpentry, including framing, trim, and cabinetry. • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and building plans. • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. • Ensure all work is completed to specification, with a high standard of quality and attention to detail. • Collaborate with project managers, other trades, and clients as needed. • Maintain a safe and organized work environment. Qualifications: • Proven experience in carpentry, framing, and finish work. • Proficient in using both power tools and hand tools. • Ability to read and work from blueprints and plans. • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and craftsmanship. • Physically fit and able to perform manual labor and heavy lifting. • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. • Certification or completed apprenticeship in carpentry is a strong plus.
