Overview

Waters-ERA is currently leading a search for a Materials Handler II who is primarily responsible for preparing daily and future customer orders and shipping them on time and accurately. The Materials Handler II will work closely with the Operations, Quality, EH&S and Commercial teams to ensure the highest level of product quality and value are provided to Waters-ERA customers. The Materials Handler II will work directly with the floor lead supporting daily requests and ensuring due dates are met to meet on time deliveries.

The successful candidate will be a passionate and agile, who strives to deliver superior value to our internal and external customers every day. This hands-on position requires excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving, critical thinking as well as a compelling initiative to see the organization succeed.

Responsibilities

Processing and printing daily and future orders.

Picking, reviewing, packaging, and shipping of outgoing customer orders.

Conduct weekly/quarterly inventory cycle counts to ensure inventory is accurate.

Preparing Dangerous Goods shipments to DG packaging and documentation guidelines.

Generation and review of production and customer facing documentations.

Assist other departments as needed including packaging/labeling.

Participating in process improvements.

Ensure that all products and data meet Quality Assurance requirements.

Support a physically and mentally safe environment for all employees and coworkers.

Qualifications

High School graduate or GED equivalent.

Years Experience (upon hire): 2+ years' experience in a warehouse/shipping environment.

Ability to operate material handling equipment - Forklift, Pallet Jack, and Hand Truck

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, written and attention to detail skills.

Experience with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, etc.) required; Experience with SAP and/or Great Plains preferred but not required.

Must be able to lift 40 lbs.

Ability to work independently and within a team.
